Maintenance from a building company
Prestige is a building company, not a single trade. The team that builds extensions and new homes also handles the smaller jobs. That might be a leak that needs tracing, a gutter that’s come away, or a flat that has to be ready for the next tenant by Friday. You make one call, deal with one point of contact, and get the work priced before it starts.
Call-outs are booked on working days, Monday to Friday. We do not run an out-of-hours emergency service, so please don’t use the form for emergencies. If you smell gas, call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999; for a power cut, call 105; for a burst water main, contact your water supplier.
What we look after
- Repairs and call-outs: roofs, slipped tiles and flashing, gutters and downpipes, leaks, doors, windows, fencing and gates
- Damp and rot: we find the cause first, whether that's failed pointing, blocked gutters or a bridged damp course, then repair it properly rather than painting over it
- Inside the property: plastering, joinery, decorating, flooring, kitchens and bathrooms
- Outside and below ground: drainage, paths, walls, external works, and the brickwork and repointing we're known for (costs in our repointing costs guide)
Voids and end-of-tenancy work
Every empty week costs rent. We walk the property with you, agree a list, and one team does the whole scope: repairs, making good, decoration, flooring, and kitchen or bathroom replacements. You’re not left coordinating five separate trades.
Who we work for
We work for homeowners, landlords, letting and managing agents, and estates and facilities teams. We can work to your instructions and order numbers, and arrange access with tenants directly if you’d prefer.
Why use a building company for maintenance
We look at what is behind the symptom as well as the symptom itself: the rotten joist under a soft floor, the lintel over cracked brickwork, the drain that keeps backing up. Every visit is by an insured building team with the trades and the plant to deal with what it finds, and if a repair turns out to be bigger, the same team carries it straight through.
