How to read these records

Every project here is a job Prestige carried out, written from site notes and photographs taken while the work was going on rather than assembled afterwards. Two things are worth knowing before you read them.

Some are finished and some are not. Where a job is still on site the page says so at the top, and the photographs stop where the work has got to. We would rather show you a floor being levelled than wait a year for a styled photograph of a finished room. The Great Shelford job is the clearest example — it is at substructure stage and the page says exactly that.

The photographs are ours. They are taken on site by the people doing the work, not bought in, which is why some have a wheelbarrow in shot or were taken in poor light. The captions describe what is actually in the frame.

Between them the records cover extensions, full refurbishments, loft conversions, brickwork and new build work across Cambridge and the villages around it. If you are weighing up a similar job, the record closest to yours is usually more use than the service page.
